My mother started reading to me when I was just a tiny person. The stories were magical, full of fantasy, color, and personality.

I’ve been a writer my whole adult life, beginning as a news writer back before the earth’s crust cooled.

I’ve written news. I have written content for many, many websites. Anything someone needed to be written, I was the person they chose.

But I never stopped loving reading. I read to my daughter just as my Mom had done. To this day, she’s still an avid reader and has taught my grandsons to be the same - not on tablets, but holding real, paper books. They’ve grown up with the smell of books in the air.

After several years of working in radio/television, corporate management, and marketing, I decided I no longer wanted to write for others; I was going to write what I loved - children’s stories.

My stories are specifically written to be read by adults to children. I want to encourage conversation, closeness, and exploring the world together.
